In most pay television markets there is no economic justification for a shift from Analog Addressable Converters to Digital Converters. The subscriber revenues are simply not large enough to offset the very high cost of Digital boxes. For these markets Analog Addressable Converters are still alive and well.
It is for these markets that Arcom has an ideal solution. Through its sister MDI, Arcom is the only company to offer a field proven GI compatible Analog Addressable Converter. The unit is available for all worldwide television standards. Depending upon operator preference, the unit can be either installed into an existing GI system and run off the ACC4000 control system, or it can be run using a separate Arcom/MDI controller.
